Abstract
Objectives: Describle some clinical and paraclinical characteristics and treatmeant results in malaria patients at Vietnam Level 2 field hospital in Bentiu, South Sudan.
Methods: Research on epidemiological investigation of cases, assessment of clinical and paraclinical characteristics of malaria from 34 patients diagnosed with malaria treated at level 2 field hospital rotation 4 Vietnam from April 2022 to July 2023.
Results: The majority of patients are men (94.12%), the age group 20-39 years old accounts for the highest proportion (61.76%). Treatment results: 34 patients are stable.
Conclusion: Diagnosis of malaria at Hospital 2.4 is based on history, epidemiology, clinical rapid test and malaria parasite microscopy. Malaria mainly appears at the end of the rainy season with diverse clinical and paraclinical characteristics: with malaria, shivering usually occurs in the first 3 days, sweating, headache and sore throat.
