Abstract

Objectives: To investigate the dynamic sonographic characteristics of the shoulder in patients with frozen shoulder.

Subjects and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study on 49 in patients with adhesive capsulitis at Military Hospital 103, from November 2021 to June 2023.

Results: Signs of anterosuperior compression and restricted external rotation were positive in most patients with frozen shoulder at rates of 95.92 % and 91.84 % respectively.

Conclusion: Dynamic ultrasound investigates restricted external rotation and abduction of shoulders, providing information for diagnosing adhesive capsulitis.
