Abstract
Objective: Evaluate the results of treatment of closed Dupuytren fractures with internal fusion surgery at Ha Dong General Hospital. Subject and method: Prospective study, Cross-sectional description combined with longitudinal follow-up, without control group, on 37 patients examined and treated at Ha Dong General Hospital. Results: All patients had internal bone fusion surgery in the first week, of which 81.1% had surgery in the first 24 hours. Immediate results after surgery: 100% union at the beginning of the incision, the fibula fracture was no longer displaced in 36/37 patients (97.3%) 1 patient still had a little displacement, the medial ankle fracture was no longer displaced in 19/21 Patients (90.5%), bone formation technique 100% requirements. The distant results showed no fistula or ulcer at the surgical site; 100% of fractures bone union. Syndemosis joint are normal, the talus bone is no longer displaced in 100% of patients. The average AOFAS score is 92.92 ± 6.85 points (73 -100 points); There were 27 patients with good results, 8 patients with good results and 2 patients with average results, with no poor results. No complications of screw fracture fixing the syndemosis joint were detected. Conclusion: Internal fusion surgery is a safe and effective method in treating closed Dupuytren fractures.
