Abstract

Objectives: Study the external morphological characteristics and internal anatomical morphology of the Solanum nigrum L., Solanaceae family. Research methods: Microsurgical cutting, bleaching, dyeing, and drying of medicinal powder; Observe and photograph microscopic features; Concurrently, use the morphological comparison method to identify scientific names. Results on morphology: Herbaceous stem, hairy; Leaves are spaced out and have with wavy or large-toothed edges; Inflorescences are cyme-shaped, grow outside the leaf axils, and have small, slender flower stalks; white flower, flower diameter 0.5 cm; Stamens 5, loose, bunched together into a tube covering the ovary; 2-celled, smooth; the berry turn black when ripe. Anatomy: Young stems and leaves have straight multicellular pubescent feathers; secretory feathers are unicellular, head multicellular; stem powder with point circuit; The roots appear sandy calcium oxalate crystals; Pollen grains are spherical with 2 - 3 convex mounds. Conclusions: The above characteristics are a database for reference when identifying Solanum nigrum L.
