Abstract

Objectives: To investigate the Tacrolimus trough concentration at the 12th month in kidney transplant patients at Military Hospital 103. Methods: An observational, prospective study was conducted on 87 kidney transplant patients from living donors, followed up for 12 months post-transplant at Nephrology and Hemodialysis Department, Military Hospital 103, from February 2022 to December 2022. Results: 55.2% of patients used a TAC dose from 0.1 - 0.2 mg/kg/day, and no patient used more than 0.2 mg/kg/day. The proportion of patients with TAC trough concentration (C0) reaching the recommended level was 62.1%; those with C0 below and above the recommended level accounted for 20.7% and 17.2%, respectively. The median value of TAC C0 was 6.5 ng/mL. There was no difference in mean glomerular filtration rate between the three groups with TAC C0 levels lower, within and higher than recommendations. Conclusion: Most kidney transplant patients at 12 months post-transplant used a TAC dose from 0.1 - 0.2 mg/kg/day. The rate of reaching the recommended TAC C0 concentration was 62.1%.
