Abstract

Objectives: To evaluate the effect of Hoan luc khang (HLK) soft capsules on restoring physical strength after cold stress in experimental settings. Methods: This was an in vivo experimental study design. Core temperature, respiratory rate, red blood cell (RBC) count, activity level, and feeding behavior were assessed in rabbits subjected to forced exercise in a microclimate chamber at 15°C and 50% humidity. Results: HLK soft capsules helped restore core temperature to baseline faster, supported the maintenance of stable SpO₂, prevented respiratory depression, and  increased activity and food intake compared to the herbal extracts and placebo groups. Conclusion: HLK soft capsules improved endurance and physical recovery under cold stress compared to herbal extracts and placebo groups.
