Objectives: To describe the current state of occupational burnout and explore related factors among healthcare workers in the intensive care and emergency departments of public hospitals and health centers. Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional study with analysis was conducted on 331 healthcare workers in the intensive care and emergency departments of public hospitals and health centers in Soc Trang province between December 2024 and January 2026, these subjects had over six months of service. Occupational burnout was assessed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI).
