Abstract

Objectives: To investigate the spectrum of dermatological diseases of inpatients at Military Hospital 103 over a 5-year period (2020 - 2024). Methods: A retrospective, cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 3,880 cases at the Department of Dermatology, Military Hospital 103 from January 2020 to December 2024. Dermatological diseases were classified according to ICD 10. Results: Common dermatological conditions included dermatophytosis (12.1%), acute urticaria (10.9%), scabies (9.5%), and warts (8.0%). Less common disease groups included  bacterial skin diseases (5.1%), sexually transmitted diseases (2.2%), and autoimmune skin diseases (2.2%). The majority of patients were aged 21 - 40 (58.0%), 72.6% were male, and 48% were military personnel. There was a higher number of patients in the final months of the year. Conclusion: Common diseases include dermatophytosis, acute urticaria, scabies, and warts. Patients are mainly male, military personnel, aged 21 - 40, with a higher number of hospitalizations recorded during winter.
