Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the rate of apoptotic induction of measles virus vaccine (MeV) and Cisplatin strain on lung-cell carcinoma (H460). Materials and methods: H460 cells were infected with the vaccine strain of MeV virus and Cisplatin at 48, and 96 hours and were analyzed by flow cytometry on the FACS Lyric system to evaluate the apoptosis. Results: The proportion of apoptotic cell death in the treated groups was significantly lower compared to that of the control group (p<0.01). The proportion of apoptotic cell in the group treated with the MeV+Cisplatin combination was significantly lower than those with single treatment of MeV or Cisplatin (p<0.0001). Conclusion: Combination treatment with the Vaccine Strain Measles virus and Cisplatin enhances apoptotic and necrosis against activity lung cancer cells in vitro.
