Mục tiêu: Đánh giá hiệu quả của tập luyện hạn chế lưu lượng máu (blood flow restriction training - BFRT) trong việc cải thiện sức mạnh cơ và chức năng vận động ở người cao tuổi (NCT). Phương pháp nghiên cứu: Các nghiên cứu được tìm kiếm trên PubMed, Web of Science và Scopus trong giai đoạn 2020 - 2026. Tiêu chí lựa chọn gồm NCT đã áp dụng BFRT và báo cáo kết quả về sức mạnh cơ hoặc chức năng vận động. Có 8 nghiên cứu được lựa chọn và tổng hợp định tính theo phương pháp tổng quan hệ thống. Kết quả: BFRT giúp cải thiện rõ rệt sức mạnh cơ, trong khi hiệu quả đối với chức năng vận động có sự biến thiên, phụ thuộc vào đặc điểm đối tượng và hình thức can thiệp. Các phương pháp kết hợp, đặc biệt với tập chức năng hoặc rung toàn thân, mang lại hiệu quả toàn diện hơn. Kết luận: Phương pháp này có giá trị ứng dụng trong việc cải thiện chức năng vận động ở NCT, đặc biệt ở những người không thể thực hiện bài tập cường độ cao.
