Nội soi mật tụy ngược dòng (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography -ERCP) và đặt stent đường mật là phương pháp can thiệp phổ biến trong điều trị sỏi ống mật chủ hoặc hẹp đường mật. Tuy nhiên, nếu không được theo dõi và lấy ra đúng thời gian, stent có thể trở thành dị vật gây biến chứng nghiêm trọng. Chúng tôi trình bày 1 trường hợp thấm mật phúc mạc, tắc mật do sỏi ống mật chủ ở người bệnh còn stent đường mật bị lãng quên, di chuyển lên ống gan trái. Ca lâm sàng này cho thấu sự cần thiết của việc nâng cao nhận thức về tuân thủ theo dõi và lấy stent đường mật sau ERCP đúng hẹn.
